Tarangire National Park

We think you’ll be impressed with Tarangire National Park. Most visitors love the distinct shapes of the baobab trees silhouetted against the sky that make this place feel like a fairy-tale African landscape. Or visitors remember the elephants that roam in family bands everywhere throughout the park. If you’re lucky, you’ll also encounter the big cats – lions especially, but also cheetahs and leopards – that are always a possibility here. And there’s a fair degree of certainty that you will tick wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, buffalo and zebra off your wildlife-viewing list.

This morning you'll explore Tarangire National Park on a guided game drive. Lions, elephants and so much more are possible as you drive between the park's famous baobab trees, led by an expert guide.

From your vantage point on one of the park's highest points, you'll be able to see deep into the park, from the forests and rivers to distant hills. Day 3

Mto wa Mbu

Another day in Tarangire National Park could be among your favourite national parks anywhere in Tanzania. Here in Tarangire, you can look for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. But you won’t have to look hard to see baboons, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. And you’ll come across elephants and baobabs everywhere, two giants of the African bush. Also, an enjoyable part of your Tarangire experience will be the rolling savannah scenery, which includes rivers and low hills. And while it can get busy, crowds of cars will not be a problem here.

You'll be joining us for a last morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. It's a fantastic opportunity to see some of the animals you came so far to see.

Central Serengeti National Park

It's time for you to get to know the Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich places in all of East Africa. All three big cats are commonly seen, as are many other animals, and the savannah grasslands interspersed with signature acacia trees is classic safari terrain. It can get busy, but it's a vast area where you can easily find some solitude.

Early this morning, we'll be taking you to the next stage of your safari, and you'll get to enjoy a game drive along the way.

Afternoon

After arrival, you will in the afternoon go on a guided game drive through part of the Central Serengeti. Keep an eye out for big cats, elephants, and so much more as your guide leads you through this stunning park.

Northern Serengeti National Park

You really do have so much to look forward to on your visit to the Northern Serengeti. The varied landscape of rolling hills, grasslands, light woodlands and the Mara River should be the scene for some fantastic animal encounters. Watch especially for elephants and big cats. And the safari trails up in the park's north are generally much quieter than they are elsewhere in the park.

You never forget the first time you see Ngorongoro Crater from above. Looking out from the rim of this extraordinary volcanic crater is like gazing down upon a lost world of wildlife and astonishing beauty. The drive down into the crater will be just as special, taking you down onto the crater floor where nature rules and no human being may pass the night. You'll spend the best part of a day exploring this remarkable place, seeing its lions, hyenas, black rhinos, elephants, flamingos and so much more. And when it comes time to leave, you'll keep looking back over your shoulder trying to hold these experiences in your memory.

Keep an eye out for wildlife early this morning on your transfer to the next part of your safari, which doubles as a game drive.

Exploring Ngorongoro Crater in the company of an expert guide could make your guided game drive here one of the highlights of your whole safari. Look for lions, black rhinos and spotted hyenas as you drive around the crater floor this afternoon.

Ngorongoro Crater then to Matemwe Beach

Zanzibar Island is a fascinating place to explore. The long, beautiful beaches that hem in this tropical Indian Ocean island are a big part of its appeal. Another highlight is the atmospheric old Stone Town, a time-warped knot of winding alleys that leads past some fine historic buildings and bustling spice-laden markets. Offshore, a series of fringing reefs and coral gardens offers wonderful snorkeling and diving too.

Early this morning it's time for you to enjoy an amazing safari experience as you go on a guided game drive through Ngorongoro Crater. Watch for animals that might include black rhinos, spotted hyenas and lions as your guide shows you around the crater floor. You will also have a nice lunch in the crater, but watch out for the food-stealing birds, or that a monkey does not try to snatch your camera, phone or bag :-) they can be a little sneaky

Late in the afternoon, you will transfer by Road from Ngorongoro Crater to the Airport.

You'll be blown away by Matemwe, a magnificent palm-lined tropical beach that runs for several kilometres along the northeast coast of Zanzibar. Intertwined with the village of the same name, Matemwe looks out across calm, turquoise Indian Ocean waters to the small island of Mnemba.
At the Matemwe village, you can find several nice places to have a snack, lunch or even dinner. Trying the local specialities.
In and around the area and from your hotel, you will be able to find several different activities, like going on a trip to Mnemba Island for Snorkelling or diving, renting a scooter or Quad bike within a fair distance.

Go on a Dolphin Tour at Kizimkazi and enjoy these incredible animals. It is possible to combine it with a kayaking tour.
A boat Trip, Nakupenda Beach is an experience of its own, having lunch on the sandbanks, and you will also be able to go snorkelling.

Zanzibar Stone Town

Zanzibar Stone Town is a fascinating place to visit. A Unesco World Heritage Site, this absorbing port town was once the hub of a trade network that extended across the Indian Ocean to Persia, India and beyond. Stone Town's rich and varied pedigree is reflected in the distinctive architecture of the multi-story coral stone houses that line its alleys, as well as the cosmopolitan feel of the local Swahili culture.

The tour of Zanzibar Stone Town is a three-hour tour which begins at your hotel or entry point, where you walk where you will visit the market, the Anglican Cathedral at Mkunazini, the crucifix of the Church that came from the tree in Chitambo under which the heart of Dr. Livingstone was buried, then the National Museums of Zanzibar, and maybe a visit to the Birth place of Freddy Mercury, the lead singer of Queens, maybe the younger ones does not know him unless you tell them about the song "we are the champions" (to visit cost extra).
